Champion Bloodlines for Show or Hunting Companions

 
We are a family owned kennel located in Southern Illinois, south of Marion, Illinois. We have been raising Labrador Retrievers for seven years and have owned at least one for 30 years. All of our dogs have been hip certified by OFA and the puppies have a 26 month guarantee on hip defects. We have one light yellow (white) male, and two young black females. Our dogs compete in AKC Conformation and UKC/HRC sponsored Hunt Tests and "Sonny" HR Wagon Creek Sonofagun, who is out of champion English bloodlines has his Hunter Retriever title. We are in the process of changing over our breeding pairs. We are trying to achieve the standard English Labrador "look" while keeping the hunting instinct and enthusiasm of the field trial dogs. Sonny (right) is our first step towards that. We also have a black female. Heidi is from Champion Show dog bloodlines(English).

 

 

 

 

 

His name is Wagon Creek's Sonofagun "Sonny" . We ran him in hunt tests last Spring and he received his HR (Hunting Retriever) title before his first birthday. Her name is is Creekside's Wagon Creek Heidi.

In July '09 we took Sonny to his first AKC show and he received two FIRST place ribbons. In August 2010, we showed both Sonny and Heidi. Sonny received Best of Breed and Heidi received Best of Opposite

 

Pedigrees

Sonny and Heidi's puppies were born November 14. Unfortunately, we lost several of them as they were a few days early. We have one beautiful big girl left. This pup is out two great bloodlines with many champions. Taking deposits now. Contact 618-889-0538 or wgncreklbs@hotmail.com.
