Wagon Creek Labs
We are a family owned kennel located in Southern Illinois, south of Marion, Illinois. We have been raising Labrador Retrievers for four years and have owned at least one for 30 years. All of our dogs have been hip certified by OFA and the puppies have a 26 month guarantee on hip defects. We have two black males, two yellow females and a chocolate female. We compete in UKC/HRC sponsored Hunt Tests and all of our dogs have titles.

This is a picture of Storm (Wagon Creek's Ebony Storm.) Although he is only eight years old, we have decided to semi-retire him. He'll still be available to sire puppies, but he is now living the life of leisure with our daughter and her husband. They have mad him a house dog and he is enjoying every minute of it!

 

 

The bottom picture is our new "stud". He's a little young right now, but he'll be ready in a couple of years. His name is Wagon Creek's Sonofagun "Sunny" We just picked him up from the breeder in Springfield, MO over the Fourth of July. He's living in the house too. We see a lot of potential in him, he loves to retrieve and he loves getting in the swimming pool!.

 

We usually have two or three litters a year. So far they have all been a mix of blacks and yellows. Both of our males are yellow factored and produce yellow pups. Our females have all proven to be really good mothers and are willing to let anyone go into the pen with them and handle their pups.
